Unsplash offers a huge selection of beautiful, free photos for personal and commercial use, "gifted by the world’s most generous community of photographers." They are my go-to site for images and have been for the past couple years. Whenever I am looking for free images to use, unsplash is the first place I go and it is very rare that I can't find what I am looking for. Most of my Instagram feed features photos from Unsplash.
All of their photos are available for free for commercial and noncommercial purposes.

My favorite thing is ease of use and wide variety of photos to choose from. You are able to easily create albums and store collections of photos.

2. Pic Jumbo
Pic Jumbo is a free stock photo site created in 2013 by a designer and photographer named Viktor Hanacek. The site features really great and unique photos not found on (m)any other sites. You can download individual photos for free or join their premium membership to download an entire bundle using one of the paid options. Choices are $10/mo for bloggers, $19/mo for designers, and $39/mo for agencies. The photos on this site are my favorite of all the free image sites.

Pixabay is "a vibrant community of creatives, sharing copyright free images and videos. All contents are released under Creative Commons CC0, which makes them safe to use without asking for permission or giving credit to the artist - even for commercial purposes."
In addition to photos, Pixabay also offers Illustrations, Vector graphics, Videos and more. We love their manifesto and aim to unify creators via a free exchange of visual content.

Kaboom provides a great selection of interesting stock photos all taken by one woman, Karolina. She provides a "royalty-free service for stock images." She has a great eye and curates a nice selection of unique images available for free for commercial and noncommercial use. In addition to images, her blog has great reference info for brands.
