While you are creating your content calendar for 2020, whether using the one inside the Lean Out Planner or your own, here are some fun events, days to celebrate, and national holidays to inspire your content. Choose a few days that relate to your business, and get creative planning for them. It could be something as simple as a social media post, or something you create an entire campaign around. You could plan to create photos that fit with the theme, or head over to Unsplash and find the perfect photo.
For example, let's say that one of the topics you frequently coach on is the importance of self-care and taking time to unplug when running a business (it's one of the topics we coach on a lot). You could plan social media content, photos, and posts around National Bubble Bath Day, Plan for Vacation Day, and National Day of Unplugging (plus others).
You could take it one step further and plan an entire campaign around National Day of Unplugging. Engage your community and plan a contest having your followers share how they are unplugging, then reward the winner with a gift card they can use towards their favorite way to unplug.
Or let's say you are a health coach who helps people eat healthy and gluten-free. You could share your top gluten-free pancake recipe for National Pancake Day.
